Comments about CH Ellis 8804TW Super Roto Wheeled Tool Case: 12" H x 17 3/4" W x 14 1/2" D:
Field service for 17years. I've had this case for 2 1/2 years and with-in 3 monthes I was doing repairs on the case. The first repair was replacing the screws for the carrying handle. Shorly after that the hinge was stretched when TSA opened a screw container and dropped screws in the hinge, my case has not shut properly since then. The 1/4 turn latches look nice but if the case gets jared they pop open releasing the contents. I had to rivet on my own lock brackets when the original ones were missing after one trip. After 2 1/2 years on the road with this case I'm replacing my first set of wheels. I do like how big this case is and that my tool are upright when the case is opened.

This tool box is not worth one penny. So far both top and bottom clasps where the lock fits have broke off, the handle has lost a rivet and the top is no longer aligned to the bottom. The locking clips don't do anything besides come open so your tools are all over the air port floor. The handled is too short. My palets are falling apart. I really would like to throw this off a 45 story building.

I really like the case. Have had it for over a month now, it has been all over with a full load of tools. Made it thru several airline trips with nary a scratch.
I wish the handle was a little longer, it tends to be nipping at my heels while walking.
Over all, very pleased.
Comments about CH Ellis 8804TW Super Roto Wheeled Tool Case: 12" H x 17 3/4" W x 14 1/2" D:
This case is worst case I have owned in 20+ years of field service. After two road trips hinge is loose, top of case does not match with bottom, will not close correctly, has .250 gap when closed, turn locks do not hold case closed.
One wheel was damaged in shipping box and needed to order replacement wheel before box was used.

I was really dissapointed in the "ruggednes" of the case. After only 6 or 7 flights the wheels have broken off. The light duty plastic around the axles has just shattered and rendered the case useless!
