The Gator ABS Band Instrument cases are made to meet the rugged protection requirements of professional and student band players. The cases are constructed of a strong ABS exterior and a rigid EPS interior, which is similar to how a motorcycle helmet is constructed and equates to an extremely durable case. The interior has soft foam in addition to plush lining to protect the instrument. D rings on all the cases make it easy to add a shoulder strap. For added longevity, every rivet on the case has a backing plate.

The price was right. Do you build a case at this price point for just a C foot joint? I needed a replacement case for a student model flute. While the flute fits well in the new case, the latches are difficult to shut and I hope that they will loosen slightly with use. Also, the case handle leather has rolled and ripped as the seam is right in the middle of the handle.

My daughter's original case was cracked and broken the first day she brought it to school. Not the best start. The gator is much more resilient.
