In the tradition of the Gator Lightweight technology, the new Gator band cases are the perfect cross between hard case protection and gig bag weight. These cases are internally constructed from dense EPS foam and the exterior is covered in 600-denier ballistic material. To insure your instrument does not get scratched, the interior is covered in soft plush. The cases have external pockets for all your gear, D-rings for shoulder straps and detachable external elastic straps for carrying jackets or a music stand. The carrying handle is made of parachute webbing.

Really like the case and it is used every day. Daughter has piccolo and flute in it, as well as metronome and some other small items. She didn't care for the large size logo and wished to cover it up and wished there was a shoulder strap. Be nice if more color options were available, too.
