About Hilo Cases
Hilo cases was established in 1926 at the birth place of the ukulele, Hawaii. Ever since the development of the ukulele, Hawaiians were hooked. Not only were they intrigued by the majestical sound the instrument made, but also at how the musicians fingers moved across the fingerboard. Hawaiians began calling the instrument Ukulele, which roughly translates to "jumping flees". Hilo cases is rooted in tradition to continue to produce a quality product.

Comments about Hilo Cases Concert Geared Machines Ukulele Case:
I found out after buying this that Hilo cases was recently sold/reorganized, and so the quality of the product has changed. It does not have much of a lining (sp?) and unless you glue some very thick plush fleece (probably you'd want to add foam under the fleece) your concert sized instrument will still rattle around in it. I thought about re-doing the interior myself, but the exterior is not that well finished.
