I just used this box to organize my jewelry and then travel 1200 miles back home. I love the heavy construction and the look of the jewelry box.
I do not understand why the dividers are not fixed in the box. The divider can easily be removed therefore; small items of jewelry can slip under the divider. I am thinking of ways to fix the divider to the bottom of the box.
There is room at the top of the box for everything to shift around if by chance your luggage turns upside down so I suggest a piece of cardboard in between the top of the divider and the lid.

I wanted something to separate my earrings by color groups,and something that would keep them separated even during traveling. It stays closed in a suitcase with a rubber band around it" just in case "and small enough to not take up too much space in your suitcase "
