Fed Ex and Airlines have not destroyed the case.
Roll wheels are great. This case fits two roll up banners, plus lights and some accessories.
Comments about SKB Cases Rail-Pack Utility Case: 9 1/2" H x 38 3/8" W x 13 11/16" D (outside):
I purchased the case to be able to check trade show banners with my luggage. The case design isn't compatible with airline travel: the latches can easily get bumped and pop open, and they cannot be locked shut because of TSA regulations.
The measurements given are overall outside measurements, and do not include the wheel base and top cut-aways. Despite all my measurements the banners barely fit.
One round trip put a pretty deep scratch in the case and severed a rubber foot.
There are pluses: the materials inside remained safe, the wheel mechanism works very smoothly, and the overall case weight versus protection ratio is good.
